Meeting on the beach before start Meet your guide at the beach base, get fitted with a board and paddle suited to your height and experience, and run through the plan for the session.
Safety and technique briefing — Your guide covers how to stand up, how to hold the paddle, basic strokes for going forward and turning, and what to do if you fall off (spoiler: you get back on and keep going). This part happens on the sand first, so it is easy and unhurried.
On the water — 30 minutes Paddle out from the beach into the lagoon at your own pace. Beginners stay close to shore in the shallowest, calmest water while they find their balance; once you're steady, your guide will take the group along the coastline, pointing out coral patches, fish and good photo spots. Confident paddlers can range further and pick up the pace.
Return and finish — Paddle back in, hand back your board, rinse off and relax. Ask your guide about tides and conditions if you want to come back and paddle again on your own another day.
Total duration: approximately 1 hour from meeting point to return.
