Overview
There is no better way to see Zanzibar’s coastline than from 50 metres above it. Parasailing lifts you gently off the back of a speedboat and into the air, where the noise drops away and you get the view nobody else on the beach is getting the reef line, the sandbanks, the dhows, Kendwa’s white sand curving north, and water that changes colour every hundred metres.
The launch is smooth and the landing is soft. You are strapped into a harness on the boat deck, the winch lets you out slowly, and you come back down to the same deck without ever touching the water unless you ask for a toe dip, which is half the fun. Most guests expect an adrenaline rush and are surprised to find the flight itself is calm, quiet and almost peaceful.
No experience needed, no swimming required, and you can go up solo or side by side with a partner or friend.

Tour Plan
Meeting at the beach — 15 minutes before departure Meet our crew at the watersports base on the beach. You will be registered, briefed on the plan for the session and fitted with your life jacket and harness.
Safety briefing — 10 minutes The crew explains how the launch works, how to sit back into the harness, the hand signals used between you and the boat, and how the landing will feel. It is short and clear — there is very little you need to do other than enjoy it.
Boat ride to the flight area — 10 minutes A short ride out to open water where conditions are right for the launch. Guests waiting their turn stay on board and get a great view of everyone else's flight.
Your flight — 10 minutes in the air The parachute opens behind the boat, the winch releases, and you rise smoothly into the air. From the top you can see the full sweep of the north coast — Nungwi village, the lighthouse, Kendwa beach, fishing dhows and the reef shelf dropping into deep blue. The crew can dip your feet into the water on the way down if you want it, or keep you completely dry if you don't. Just tell them beforehand.
Landing and return — 20 minutes You are winched back down onto the boat deck for a soft landing, then it is back to shore with the rest of the group. Photos and video taken during your flight are shared with you afterwards.
Total duration: approximately 1 hours from meeting point to return, depending on group size.
