Hop on a jet ski and open the throttle across the warm, clear water off Zanzibar’s north coast — carving turns, catching small waves, and covering the coastline far faster than any boat tour. No licence or experience is needed; after a short briefing you’re in control, with a guide riding alongside or leading the group the whole way.

Tour Plan
Meeting on the beach before departure Meet your guide at the watersports base, get fitted with a life jacket, and complete a short registration.
Safety briefing and controls — Your guide runs through the throttle, steering, braking, and what to do if you fall off or stall — a normal part of the ride, and easy to recover from. You'll also cover the hand signals used to follow the group and hold formation.
On the water — 30 minutes Head out from shore and follow your guide along the coastline, opening the throttle on the straights and carving turns as you get more comfortable. The route takes in views of Nungwi's lighthouse, Kendwa's beaches and the reef line, with stops if the group wants a breather or a photo. Confident riders can ask to pick up the pace; nervous first-timers can stay close to the guide throughout.
Return and finish — Back at the beach, hand back your jet ski, rinse off, and collect any photos or video taken during the ride.
Total duration: approximately 1 hour from meeting point to return, depending on the package booked.
