Tour Plan
Your adventure begins with a traditional wooden dhow sailing from Fumba village into the sparkling waters of Menai Bay Conservation Area. The bay is home to dolphins, tropical fish, and pristine coral reefs. Guests can snorkel in crystalclear waters, guided by professionals who ensure both safety and fun.
The dhow anchors at a stunning sandbank, where you can relax on soft white sands, swim in shallow lagoons, and soak up the sun. Fresh tropical fruits are served as refreshments, adding to the island atmosphere.
A highlight of the day is the seafood BBQ lunch served under the shade of tamarind trees on Kwale Island. Expect grilled fish, prawns, calamari, lobster (seasonal), rice, chapati, and tropical fruits. Vegetarian options are also available.
After lunch, guests explore Kwale Island’s natural lagoon, formed by mangroves, where you can swim in calm, emerald waters. The dhow then sets sail back to Fumba, offering a relaxing end to the day with views of the Indian Ocean.
