Start your day trip to Mikumi National Park with a morning flight at 6 am from Zanzibar, arriving at 7 am. Upon landing at the Mikumi Airstrip, you will be met by our driver-guide and begin your full-day game drive in an open-sided or open-roofed vehicle. Your morning will be spent exploring the beautiful Mkata Floodplain, where you can spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and many other animals. A stop at the Hippo Pools offers great views of hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat.

Around midday, you’ll enjoy your packed lunch at a designated picnic spot inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. After an exciting day of exploring Mikumi’s wildlife and landscapes, you will return to the airstrip at around 4 pm for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar. Pick-up and drop-off from your hotel in Zanzibar are included in the tour price.
